Proceeds from the Cafe help support our work with vulnerable people in Bristol and with maintaining an important part of Bristol’s history.
St James Priory is a beautiful heritage building right in the heart of Bristol and can be accessed via Cafe Refectoire with no entry charge. The Priory is a Grade 1 listed Norman building of great historical importance both locally and nationally.
We tell our fascinating story about both the building and our charitable work through the exhibition within the Priory which can be accessed via Cafe Refectoire (free entry but donations welcome). Join us for one of our Tour and Tea Groups.
St James is not a Parish Church and has no regular income from a church congregation. We rely on donations and the income from Cafe Refectoire to contribute to the maintenance of the building and our charitable work of supporting vulnerable people.
Please consider making a contribution to maintain this Heritage Building for Bristol and the nation.
